I wish this forklift was better made. Then it would be fun to play.

Overall, the forklift is made very cheaply out of bad plastic. The screw holding the remote control battery compartment did not unscrew and the battery compartment latch was cracked.

Approximately 5 minutes into playing, the forklift arms stopped going up and down.

The control buttons are extremely badly done and stick and do not properly work.

For a comparatively high price, I would expect better quality out of this toy.

I live in Canada and this is the only forklift that I found on the internet that can be shipped to Canada. I looked in stores such as Toys R Us and Walmart and no one had a forklift. I am so glad that I found this item!! And it made a perfect gift for a 2 year old boy who loves the forklifts at Home Depot!

When I got this forklift I couldn't wait to get it out of the box. I got it out of the box and played with it. The only thing I had a little trouble with was the steering, but when I fliped the forklift over to turn it on, I found that had a steering ajuster. That did it. all you half to do is turn it two notches to the right and there you go. Its totally worth it to buy this rc forklift, its just a little fragile, so be carful with it.

A good concept, but wow. Overall the item is poorly constructed. The arm on the forklift did not work. And the remote control function was choppy; it would work sometimes and sometimes would not. Keep in mind that this was how the toy malfunctioned out of the box. We had to send it back for a refund.

Don't waste your time or money with this product. The remote was poorly constructed and the buttons tended to move around inside of the casing. The light came on for the remote but the lift itself failed to show any signs of life even with multiple battery swaps (just wanted to be sure before giving up). This product made for a very disappointed little boy on Christmas. So thanks to Amazons easy return policy we sent it back and went with a Bruder forklift. Even though it is not remote control the Bruder lift is far superior and our son is more than happy now!

I purchased this toy forklift for my 2yr old son who goes to lowes and home depot with me just to check out the real thing. I can't say this thing is built well, but for the price it isn't bad at all. In fact, based on other reviews I read before purchasing I was thinking it was going to be a flimsy waste of money, but I figured it was worth a chance. With that said, I can't imagine that it is going to last several years with me and my 2yr old playing with it, but within minutes of driving it around and picking up pallets we knew the purchase was a great decision. All of the adults wanted to take it for a spin :)

TIP: if you have small children make sure you are clear with them that they shouldn't grab it or push down on the forks. The fork section is probably the most fragile and likely to break. I know that this is easier said than done since I have a 2yr old myself, but if you keep them engaged in the operation of the remote control and the cause and effect of the steering and forward and reverse movement they lose the impulse to chase and grab.

This forklift did not work at all-- no power after installing the batteries. Also, the build quality is pretty poor.

A forklift was at the top on my son's Christmas list, so he was super excited to get a REMOTE CONTROL forklift! I was worried about the quality and the durability of the forklift when we opened the package to put in the batteries. The materials seemed cheap and flimsy. Sure enough, within one hour after being opened, the metal antenna on the remote controller of the forklift was bent and soon snapped off. The forklift no longer moves the pallet up and down and my son quickly lost interest. I should note that my son is always very careful with his toys. The antenna bent as my son tried to collapse it and broke when he tried to pick it up by the antenna. As other reviewers have noted, the forklift does not operate correctly on carpeted surfaces. I wish I had listened and gone with the Bruder forklift, but I was too excited about the prospect of getting a forklift that moved.

I bought a bunch of these for Christmas for my son-in-laws, my son-in-laws to be, and step grandsons and grandsons......they all had fun with them. They were a big hit. I'm happy I saw them..... The 7 grandsons are aged 4-13. They Dad's are much older! All had fun with them!
