5.0 out of 5 stars Englands best kept secret!, October 1, 2001

This review is from: Formalhyde / How to Make Friends / Regular Urban (Audio CD)
Terrorvision are one of those bands (like the Wildhearts) who have been sadly over looked time and time again. Terrorvison (4 guys from Bradford England) have produced over their 13 year history some of the most fun rock songs you'll ever hear, and they are the perfect antidote to a world that seems to be obcessed with the depressing and the mundane. On this 3CD set you have absolute classics such as the singles, the riff laden American TV, 'the bounciest song in the world' Oblivion, Perserverance (you will be singing whales and dolphins!), some people say, my house, pretend best friend, and Middleman. Describing there music is a difficult task for anyone, and this collection goes from the short 2minute punk pop/rock (what the doctor ordered, if i was you), to slower accoustic moments such as desolation town.
This band had what most bands lack, a sense of humour and a sense of fun, and this was very clearly relayed in their music. So do yourselves a favour, get yourselves a copy of Terrorvision and listen to what alot of the world sadly missed. Terrorvison called it a day after 5 albums and 13 years in 2001, but their back catalogue is a stunning epitaph to Bradfords finest.
