As a very busy person, it takes a LOT to get me to take time out to go find a book I have previously downloaded and leave a review, but this book certainly has accomplished that. So often, you see books advertised as written by someone who has been there as a professional publisher, and then you find the work is poorly organized, poorly written, and poorly edited. NOT THIS BOOK! This book is everything I could aspire to, even aside from the fact I need to create a book and publish it physically. It's a well-done book even if I never needed to know the information it contains.

I am an author of several ebooks and the editor/publisher of some others. I and my co-authors are about to wade into the heady space of print production, and I was feeling a bit dazed by all the information available on Amazon. (Amazon: I love you, but you really need to organize your "how to" pages better). Ms. Green took me step-by-step into this physical print jungle/quagmire, never leaving me feeling lost or abandoned. Her instructions are extremely clear, and she also explains the WHY for many of the steps that are required (thus making it less likely that we will skip a step and eventually have to do it over again).

Bottom line: the price Ms. Green has entered is WAY too low. It is worth much more than she charges! I fully expect this book to save me much time and gnashing of teeth. Thanks for your excellent work.

Although I use InDesign, this was a helpful guide for formatting. The author has a great style of writing, and even those who are not technically inclined will find this guide helpful!

More About the Author

From the author: I grew up in North Pole, Alaska and later, as a teen, lived on a sailboat for five years. My family visited Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, and various Caribbean islands. Luckily, my husband loves to travel, too, and we (and our three kids) have embarked upon a few interesting adventures!

I fell in love with writing in the second grade. My first romance novel, The Commander's Desire, was published in 2008, and recently updated in 2013. The book is now available in audio book format through Amazon, Audible and iTunes. The Commander's Desire has been given the accolades of "Top Pick" novel and "Reader's Favorite Hero for 2009." Other books I've written include Her Reluctant Bodyguard, a Christian romantic suspense novel, and Ice Baron, a futuristic/science fiction romance, packed with action and romance. Each has received a number of "Top Pick" reviews, too.

I'm interested in a number of different subjects! As a result, I like to mix things up, and that's why I write in a variety of genres. Here's the list of my latest books, according to genre:

Historical Romance:
The Pirate's Desire, Historical regency romance, PG-13, clean romance
The Commander's Desire, Historical medieval romance, PG-13, clean romance

Christian Romance:
Her Reluctant Bodyguard, Christian romantic suspense, with a splash of Tracy/Hepburn and Clark Gable/Claudette Colbert (It Happened One Night) humor

Science Fiction/Futuristic Romance:
Ice Baron, first in Ice Chronicles Series, PG, clean romance

Young Adult (to be released in May):
Castaways, novelette, 15,400 words, clean, light romance

Children's (to be released soon):
Toot of Fruit, a children's humorous story, 3,800 words

Murder Mystery:
Murder by Nightmare, a murder mystery novelette, 9,300 words

Publishing Industry:
Book Formatting for Self-Publishers, a Comprehensive How-to Guide

(Working titles are subject to editorial change)

Christian Romance:
Snowstorm, Contemporary, PG, clean romance

Science Fiction/Futuristic Romance:
Ice Master, second in Ice Chronicles Series, PG, clean romance (work in progress)

Christian End-Times/Apocalyptic:
Beyond the Rapture, (#1 in Rapture series) New Adult, PG, clean, light romance
Love Mercy (#2 in Rapture series) PG, romance

Kaavl Conspiracy, Paranormal, New Adult, PG-13, light romance
Kaavl Quest, Paranormal, New Adult, PG-13, light romance
Kaavl Conqueror, Paranormal, New Adult PG-14, romance

More books will be published in the coming months.
