Both books in this current series by Robert Marzano are practical and accessible. For any teacher, department or school exploring standards-based grading this book is a must read!

pretty good to help with SBG
This book is a pretty good one to get started with SBG. However, all of the information can be gleaned from searching through blogs on SBG. Also, the bloggers tend to be doing it now, so they have all the bugs worked out.
