Book Description

October 1, 2002
The 482 formulas in this book are those that you have needed or will need some time in the future. You now have the ability to have answers for those situations that require a math formula. By having the power to have answers on your own, you will then have more control and or knowlege to make the corret decisions that affect you.

In this date and age, you do not want to trust someone else to give you the right information. You will discover how easy it is to find the right answer, by using the step by little step instructions and examples in this reference book. The hardest part of math formulas is understanding what all of the symbols mean and the necessary steps to work the formula correctly. The goal of this book is to make formulas easy to understand and use. This was done by removing symbols whenever possible and instead show the nesessary step. In most cases only one element, at a time, of an equation has been illustrated, so that you can easily follow the steps taken. Whenever a calcultor is used it even tells you what buttons to push.

You will delighted to know how easy it is to work a math problem that in the past seemed to difficult. Check out the table of contents and you will see that this book address most of the areas in your life that requires a math formula or special number you need.

From the Publisher

Finally someone has made a "one book has it all" math book.

When you just want the awser to a problem and don't want to do a lot of reading or research, this is the book for you.

This book is for people that say," oh I'm really good in math and have plenty of books already on math or for the person that says, I"m really bad in math." There is just no way you can remember all of the math formulas that are fully illustraed in this book and even if you have no background in math you can work the formula you need to solve your problem. Saying, "I don't know," is not an option today.

Everyone thinks Engineers know everything. Think again! This book is useful for reference and learning new things. I can't begin to list all the important formulas I have forgotten since College. This book makes complicated things simple and easy to remember. I think this book is an excellent purchase for anyone. It even helped me with my taxes!

This is a must buy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lots and lots of information, April 12, 2004

This review is from: Math Formulas for Everyday Living (Paperback)
There is a great deal of useful information packed into this book.

I haven't looked at any other books of this type, so I have no basis for comparison. That said, this book may not be sufficiently user friendly for those who are truly math phobic. The author gets down to business and is not chatty. So, there isn't a great deal of "hand holding" provided in this book.

But, I suspect that most people will be able to find the information they need in this book and successfully solve their math problems.
