If you like 3:16, then you will love this albuim!!!,
This review is from: Fornever (Audio CD)
When these 2 come together, it's magic!! This time 9th Wonder came to Cali and got together with Murs to make the album. The beats are on point, making it the album that you want to have in the car playing on a nice summer day or while grilling at the BBQ. The beats are on point, with 9th Wonder gradually expanding his use of beats to a little higher degree. You can tell the experience in his sound as apposed when he did 3:16. Murs' rhymes are on point, and it's something that you can relate to!! There is no bling talking, how much money I have, how many women I've slept with talk, just some real talk about girls, going to the corner store, and a modern-day version of Common's "I Used to Love H.E.R." The guests on this album don't overtake the album as whole, but just blend in perfectly (you know, like when Diddy has an album, and everyone is better on it than him.) This is a classic that you MUST pick up!! The reviews don't lie!!
Pros: Rhymes are on point, beats are sick, great usage of guests! Cons: Can't lie, 10 songs, THAT'S IT?! Need more than that!!! Conclusion: Buy it!!!!

Right from the jump the first song had Murs and Kurupt. 9th hasn't lost anything on his beats # 7 I used to love her (again) is hot. Its alot closer to 3:16 than it is to Murs for President. A must for any real hip hop fans.

9th Wonder and Murs have proven to be the modern day Pete Rock/ C.L. Smooth. For those of you who remember them, get this. For those of you who don't, educate yourselves and then get this. It's just that simple. Trust me!!!!!

Murs And 9th Wonder released their third collaborative effort "Fornever". This new album takes a slight departure from their previous efforts "Murs 3:16- The 9th Edition" and "Murray's Revenge". This time around, the album leans toward a slightly commercial sound. Topically, Murs is still a rather quirky storyteller focusing on unconventional subjects, like something as simple as going to the store on "The Lick", his blatant infatuation with women of Asian heritage on "Asian Girl", and "Let Me Talk" in which he talks about dealing with a woman with PMS from a man's point of view. On the song "West Coast Cinderella" he retells the classic Cinderella fairytale with a placement in modern times. He also does an excellent job on covering Common's "I Used To Love H.E.R." and then one begins to notice how timely that song sounds today even if it was done over fifteen years earlier. The album's best song "Vikki Veil" has Murs talking about the downside of dating an adult film star, which is ironic given that in 2009, he disclosed that he and porn star Roxy Reynolds were once an item. Once again Murs And 9th Wonder have done a great album, but as always, there are only ten songs and they leave you wanting more.

I will say this: When these 2 cats get together it's guaranteed magic! They have yet to disappoint. 10 tracks, straight, uncut dope, no fillers. I am amazed by how awesome this sounds right now. Definite must buy for the year.

Murs and 9th Wonder have always been a killa duo.... but this ishhh right here is bananas!! If you haven't seen the Youtube videos of them in the studio making this album you're missing out. Hilarious! Also, who would've thought that 9th Wonder had flows! I'm am thoroughly impressed with this album. I'd say its the best Hip Hop LP I've heard so far this year. A good of example of quality not quantity. 10 solid tracks of feel good music without compromise. Murs and 9th rock!!!

i feel that Murs did a half job on this album. i mean really, Asian Girl? who looks foward to seeing an Asian Girl? then 9th Wonder over there trying to be funny. over it all, it was a good album, but i wish they had worked alot harder on this cuzz this (to me) is a flop for these 2. they are 2 skilled for this. i was gonna give this a 2, but i really do like the song Vikki Veil, Problem Is, and Let me Talk. those songs kept it a 3.
