5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book, January 2, 2004

I really enjoyed how Suzanne blended interstellar science fiction with the technology of today's humanity. I'd recommend this to any Sci Fi fan. Pick it up and give it a read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Read!, September 15, 2003

Found "Forrorois" very engaging, last third nearly impossible to put down. Characters well developed and description of settings true to characters and plot line. Liked the way story related to existing locations in NY state. Can't wait for the next installment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sci-Fi With 3-D Characters!, June 23, 2003

This review is from: Forrorrois: Innocence Lost (Paperback)
Forrorrois: Innocence Lost, by Suzanne Y. Snow is a refreshing departure from the tech-heavy, relationship-light fare that dominates the genre. All the principal characters are fleshed out and live in a real universe with real families, traditions and believable emotional lives. It's an exciting, fast paced read that doesn't leave you feeling empty when you finish it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent work from a new author, June 10, 2005
A great story with a heart to boot. Easy and quick to read, written so well that I didn't need to use the glossary even once -- my neighbor said the same thing when she read it. Dive right in and enjoy the adventure!

4.0 out of 5 stars In Guruma's name..., June 6, 2005

I'm usually a little skeptical of books that "you can't put down", but this one actually delivers. I also agree that the character development is done well, and without breaking up the tempo of a complex story. The characters are so deep, in fact, that I was left weeping as I read the final few pages! The Human Experience we have with Danica can touch us in unexpectedly profound ways. Casual sci-fi fans beware, and avid readers take note -- this is not your average book. But you gotta read it! ;-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Scary good!, September 23, 2009

I read this book shortly after it was originally published. I loved it. I'm commenting now because I just purchased the third in the series and I'm hesitating to read it. Why? Because I know when I pick it up I may forget to put it down and do other things like eating and going to work!
That is how much I am enjoying this series!

Keep it up Suzanne!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another NY talent - excellent read, September 7, 2009
By
I normally choose to read fantasy over science fiction but a friend convinced me to give this a read. I'm glad that I did and I just finished the second book which was equally satisfying. I look forward to the final in this series which I hope to pick up soon. Keep them coming Suzanne and thanks.

The only thing I lost was my reluctance for SciFi novels...Suzanne rocks the universe from one end to the other. A delightful read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Humanistic Science Fiction, August 5, 2007
This review is from: Forrorrois: Innocence Lost (Paperback)
The cold hard side of science mixed with emotion and texture, this book is full of surprises. Every time I thought I knew the characters, thought I could predict what would happen next, some new facet would be revealed in these already complex characters. The science is plausible, the writing is very readable, there is enough action to keep you interested, and the characters take you in and make you their own. You can't help but care about what happens next. Suzanne Y. Snow's first book is well worth the time it takes to read it and I expect her future books will be even better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book!, June 19, 2005

It's been said before, but it's worth repeating: great character development. Much beyond what is normally done in a science fiction story. Creative integration of advanced technology into the story (instead of the other way around). Suzanne Snow did a great job of keeping me in suspense, wanting to know what is going to happen next. I finished the book in a 8 hour marathon (something I only do with the better books) because I didn't want to put it down. Looking forward to the next installment of Danica's story!
