This book is really just a brief overview. It isn't sufficient to use as your only reference for learning Fortran. It has limited coding examples and minimal language syntax coverage. If you want to know a little bit about Fortran, this might be a good book for you. If you need to write (or fix) Fortran programs this book would not be a good choice.
