4.0 out of 5 stars More than just tarot, July 5, 2003

This handy book gives alot of ways for divining the future. It contains scrying, tea leaves, and using regular playing cards to tell the future. Doesn't go into a lot of detail on everything but is a good place to start if you are a beginner. I love the way the book is fashioned, kind of like a personal diary.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Fortune Telling Book, June 25, 2003
This review is from: The Fortune Telling Book: Reading Crystal Balls, Tea Leaves, Playing Cards, and Everyday Omens of Love and Luck (Hardcover)
This is one of the best books on fortune telling out on the market. You'll explore many methods such as, cartomancy (playing cards), using crystal balls, reading tea leaves, and candle divinations. I would suggest this book if you wanted a book of easy ways to tell your future.

This review is from: The Fortune Telling Book: Reading Crystal Balls, Tea Leaves, Playing Cards, and Everyday Omens of Love and Luck (Hardcover)
Coming from the well renowned author, gillian kemp, this book has various techniqes to help you read your future and even the present and past. As always in this series of books, the ingrediants area fairly easy to manage and the instruction can be followed by even a gold fish! The wonderful look of this book is very attractive, with old looking pages, some handwritten spells, and things that make it look like an antique. So if you've been looking for a good, small but very reliable divination book, look no further than this special treasure!

I absolutly loved this book. I expressed a great interest in the faith after I read this book. It all started when I was about 10. I recived this book around age 11 and even now ( age 14 ) I still refer back to this book. It's a great key and a great knowledge source.

Much fun :-)

The Fortune-Telling Book is a really attractive book, suitable as a gift. It has a quaint, personal touch with little notes of advice, use of everyday objects, and a ribbon for marking your place.

If you're looking to develop your sixth sense, or just like lovely things, The Fortune-Telling Book; Reading Crystal Balls, Tea Leaves, Playing Cards, and Everyday Omens of Love and Luck by Kemp is well-worth your time and money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly Astonishing!, June 2, 2011

This review is from: The Fortune Telling Book: Reading Crystal Balls, Tea Leaves, Playing Cards, and Everyday Omens of Love and Luck (Hardcover)
I have read Gillian Kemp's material for over 10 years and with each published book she provides new information to help guide us. This book includes various methods to foretell ones future. My favorite is within the middle section of the book on how to use regular playing cards to foretell the next three or twelve months along with many other layouts that allow us to ask questions.

I couldnt help but search for her online for a personal reading and sure enough, I came across her website and had a reading with her over the phone. Shes very friendly and her readings are highly accurate and the timeframes are right on - just like the book :).

A must have for anybody who would like to take a sneak peak at their near and distant future.
