My wife bought this shocker and I can't believe the horse power it delivers. Nor can I believe that it's still working after being dropped or thrown at least 30 times. When you want to pull the gag on someone make sure you are ready for them to take a swing at you.

I would not recommend "this kind of fun" in an environment where booze is setting the mood. Unless your kind of fun is watching someone else getting their arse kicked.

My son has smoked for quite awhile now. Over the years, he had shown me his various lighters. I saw these and wanted to personally give them to him and watch the fun begin. Unfortunately, I missed his shocking experience, but I gave him many days of shocking fun with his friends. Remember to purchase more than one lighter. I purchased two lighters for him. I knew it would happen sooner or later. One of his buddies would borrow the lighter so he could shock his friends...and forget to return it Sean.

While at a party, place the lighter beside the ashtray and watch the fun begin.

I also keep a shocking flashlight and shock pens that write, nearby to jump start my friends.

Hi--I live in a house full of smokers, and thought since I am slightly evil to buy this, and see what happens. After I busted out this bad boy I put it to work, and only minutes later screams were heard outside, followed by swearing lol. Anyways a few people spotted it right away and knew what it was, but you gotta love how the mind tends to forget. About twice a day I would hear someone scream lol, Even today they still don't remember that Lighter = Shock. For the Price a must get, Happy shocking

This is a great gag gift. I bought for and office Christmas White Elephant party. I tested it out ahead of time with my family and it was so funny. Educational part of it was explaining to the kids (older kids do not shock your little under 10 or 12 year olds) how the contact is made inside the lighter.It was a hit at the party as well.

This shock lighter would be perfect for my dad since he smokes I can slip this in his pocket and Bam! Another great way in getting him to quit smoking once and for all. Mua Ha Ha!!!

well when i baught this toy it looked fake cuz it was plastic but it works well it doesn't shock very bad it just scares people realy ,but a good prank for its buy no

first one didn't work, replacement worked a few times but weak(barely noticed). batteries are tiny button cells that can't be replaced. anyway you'll be lucky to open up & put back together without it breaking/falling apart. junk.

This product didn't work at first. We opened it to try replacing the batteries which were advertised as either AA or AAA, but were actually button cell batteries which I did not have on hand...so we tried reversing the batteries and it worked. It also was not so easy to open. But once we got it working it is a fun cheap gag item.

I got this for my brother who is always asking for a lighter. Very funny. I have used it on him 5 times, and everytime it makes me laugh.

It broke after a single use. I tried to pull out the battery tray but it just broke into pieces and tore a wire out. Terrible quality.
