So when my brother told me about these, I got all shades of excited. I've dressed as a vampyre every Halloween for well over a decade now, and short of getting dental implants, I've tried everything else on the market. So, here's how I see these:
The intrigue...
-this is an ingenious idea that is long overdue!
-they are entertaining once you get them fitted correctly
-they are a "softer" plastic, so they should mold easily for many different sized mouths
-very simply design, not too many things to break on them
The not so seductive side of them...
-the mold that holds them in place isn't really secure to the fangs/plate at all (mine had been jostled out of place when I opened them).
-the plastic is very cheap, those ones you get for free with the make-up kits are much more durable feeling
-like mentioned in another review, they make large "lumps" through your lips, so it's very obvious something is there.
So, all that said, I much prefer the "fangs in a coffin" style much more. They are much easier to mold and set, they are much more stable, and most importantly they look like teeth, not just cheap plastic. As the title of this review states, there is a lot of room for improvement, but this is a great start and I am glad I ordered them. The price of these really won't hurt your wallet to try them, so if you are even just curious to check them out, you may absolutely love them.
