A nice mix of beats and samples, Forward Going Backward is a supremely groovy electro-jazz recording. For me this works best as a latenight or morning chillout session but there's enough going on to keep your attention at other times too. The tracks w/ some treated sax samples add some additional flavor to the seamless beats, basslines and keyboard flourishes.
