This is the first trainer I've purchased and I've found it to be stable and quiet. It's easy to set up and easy to store. The only thing that would make it better would be increased resistance, but at the price point it's a great piece of equipment.

This was my first purchase of a stationary bike trainer and the Forza F-2 fit the bill perfectly. I had it set-up in under 15 minutes and was on my way (so to speak). I was looking for a trainer that was easy to set-up, sturdy, fit my budget for a first-time user, and came highly recommended by others. The Forza F-2 met all four criteria. If you're a semi-serious trainer who wants to use their outside bike for indoor training, especially on bad weather days. I recommend this unit.

this is the first bike trainer i have purchased, however there still are some major things i can comment on to review it for someone looking to know a little more about it other than the manufacturer/seller information.

first, it is ALOT quieter than i assumed it would be. it makes a little noise, but not so much that i can't hear the movies and shows i watch when i use it. It is in the garage and it does not make so much noise to cause a disturbance anywhere else in the house. however, i am sure if i tried to use it during the night it would be loud enough to be heard in some rooms of the house in proximity to the garage. all in all it is not loud at all.

the resistance is not great, but then again this is my first trainer so i have nothing to compare it to. it's noticably less resistance than riding on the road ( i have a road bike ) and you can switch gears to effectively change the resistance. i was looking for this level of resistance because i was looking for an all out endurance workout on this trainer and i don't need alot of resistance.

i had read about some trainers being poorly made and people complaining that their bikes were leaning to a side in them but so far i have not encountered this problem with the trainer.

i can say i am satisfied with this trainer, and the price i paid on amazon fit my budget. the only thing left to do is to see how long it lasts, right now it's fall 2010 and i'll be majority using it during those cold seasons, if it breaks on me or i find something bad about it i will most definitely be posting it here

The Forza Bicycle Trainer came without adapters. I had to wait weeks for the adapters to arrive from the seller. However, with the adapters that allow use on a bike that does not have a rear wheel quick release system, the trainer works quite well and is great for cold-weather indoor training.

This was everything I was hoping for as a beginner trainer. I read so many reviews of how loud these can be, and this really isn't bad. I got my bike on in minutes and am more than pleased.

Ok, so first of all let me say that for a quick-release bike, this thing is incredibly easy to set up and quiet with smooth tires. However, my bike was not quick-release (I'm taking about the back wheel here, obviously), so it wasn't so straightforward. My bike has 15mm nuts on the rear axle. This is the place where the stand actually holds the bike up and in place (those are the clamps at the top of the stand in the picture). On the left side, this was not a problem, as the metal fitting on the stand that holds the bike fits around the nut quite nicely. However, because it's designed for quick-release, the metal fitting on the right side of the stand was too small to hold the 15mm nut. I contemplated just removing that nut and putting it back on for road riding, but then I had visions of myself forgetting to put it back on before going out on the road and me wrecking and getting seriously hurt. You could probably do that, but consider yourself warned.

Instead, here's what I did. The metal fitting looks a lot like a socket wrench head, but without the threading. You can take the fittings off with an allen wrench/hex key. I then replaced the fitting with my 18mm socket wrench head. Ideally you should put a small washer between the fitting screw and the socket wrench head, but mine works fine without it. The 18mm head behaves pretty much like the original fitting, but the 18mm opening is obviously large enough to fit around the 15mm nut.

Now, I realize that this means that I effectively no longer have an 18mm socket wrench head, at least not without significant hassle. But to be honest, I don't know that I've ever used that particular head, so it's no big loss to me. But I do now have a functioning bike stand for my non-quick-release bike.

Ok, so this is probably the case for all of these stands, at least based on the comments that I've read. So I just want to suggest measuring the nuts on your bike's rear axle if you don't have a quick-release. If they're 15mm or more, then they won't fit in one of these fittings. I don't know how small they have to be to fit, but I know that 15mm won't.

Another option is to replace the rear axle with a quick-release axle. Looking online, this should be doable without replacing the whole wheel or even the gear structure, but since I didn't do this I can't give any specific advice on that.

You CAN NOT adjust the resistance on this trainer. But it is sturdily made and will last longer than you do!

because this thing is very quiet and it has a lot of resistance! I worked up quite sweat. It's my first trainer. I bought it so that I could do a little bit of cardio on the days that I'm not at the gym(4 days a week). Works great for my needs.

I like to bike 12 miles a day and in the winter months, I can only get this in on the weekends, since I work and it is dark when I get home. Researched the trainers available and decided on the Forza F-2 based on positive reviews. My husband assembled it in no time. I do not have to use the longer rod included, as my bike, a Giant Suede, easily fits in the bracket using the shorter rod that came with my bike. Therefore, it is an easy switch when I have the opportunity to ride outdoors. It is very sturdy and I love the extra resistance adjustment, in addition to the other gears on my bike. I have found that I get more of a workout and definitely work up more of a sweat using the trainer than I do outside, even biking against the wind! The noise level is consistent with that of regular stationary bikes that I have had in the past. Overall, I am very pleased and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay active during inclement weather and winter months when it is dark outside. I did order, separately, a riser for the front tire to keep it stable.

I ordered this to see how I would do biking indoors, I do quite a bit of outdoor biking and wanted to extend my season ( I live in Minnesota) I looked at what the LBS had to offer and a basic trainer there was at least 200$ , So being that I didn't want to waste my money on a trainer not knowing how I would like it I decided to find something more affordable, I have had mine for 3 weeks and beside it being a little louder than I would like it has been fantastic, I bike at 18-20 mph for at least an hour and it keeps its resistance and beside having to adjust tension by hand( which can take some torquing)it keeps me sweating, if you want a good trainer at the right price I would recommend this one, Again you can't and shouldn't expect top of the line preformance..
