High Quality Soundtrack, March 17, 2010

Forza 3 has one of the best video game soundtracks i've ever heard. Its downtempo electronica with a lot of house and jazz influences. It's got a elevator music vibe to it, but make no mistake, this is the best elevator music you'll ever hear! Probably the most interesting thing about this CD is that all 12 tracks come from Froza 3's game menus... Thats right, a soundtrack composed of just menu music. You wouldn't think something like that could be of such high quality. The in-game racing music is from real artists so there was no need to release those tracks I suppose. Forza 3 is easily in my top 5 favorite soundtracks and this is one of Sumthing Elses best releases. If you're at all a fan of the genres I listed above then check this one out ASAP. The only con I can come up with is the fact that (once again) they got cheap with the release and excluded some music (12 out of 18 menu music tracks made it to this CD). I guess they weren't willing to deal out the extra cash and make this a 2xCD release. A massive shame, but what we do get, is amazing.
