Product Description
The Foscam FI8903W is a wireless or wired IP camera solution for outdoor use. It combines a high quality digital video camera with network connectivity and a powerful web server to bring clear video to your desktop or smartphone from anywhere on your local network or over the Internet. The high quality video image is transmitted with 30fps speed on the LAN/WAN by using MJPEG hardware compression technology. The image resultion is 640 x 480 (300k Pixels). The Foscam FI8905 camera is based on the TCP/IP standard. The control, management and maintenance of the camera is done simply by using your browser to remotely configure and upgrade the firmware. The Foscam FI8903W IP camera can reach up to 10 meters of visibility in absolute darkness with 18 infrared LED's.

I recently purchased this camera for my home. It's small but produces a terrific picture. The installation was a bit tricky but one installed it works great!

These cameras are a lot better than the first versions, the trees are green instead of purple. The ircut filter was a great improvement, I dont have to change the brightness/contrast every morning and evening like the first ones.

Got my new 8903 a couple of hours ago. This has IR CUT and other "improvements".
I fired it up and was happy with my first look. Have a number of earlier models. The daytime video is very well exposed with factory setting (6/4 outdoor). Greens are green. Box says 3.6mm lens but I find it slightly narrower than an 8918 3.6mm I compared it with. But a whole lot better (if you want wide angle)than 6mm in 8905. I'll add to this review as necessary.
Only con I see is that the antenna on the rear is hard to tighten with my open end wrench.
