My dad goes through styluses like one every two weeks because the rubber tipped ones are all prone to ripping, getting holes, etc. It's inevitable and I'm okay with that so I bought a bunch of cheap(less than three doll hairs) multipack (four to five) styluses from various brands to see which ones were worth replacing over and over.
This one happened to be my least favorite. I found it to be the most imprecise because the tip was too round and fat. The stylus was not able to accurately select small links, and more importantly for my dad- it made for bad gameplay on his galaxy s3(anipong). Also, I've used the same styluses across the iPad, iPhones, Droid Incredible, and Nook Tablet, and didn't find a difference in performance across those devices.
Texture-wise, I'd describe it as similar to the friction you feel rubbing a balloon. Also sometimes it squeaks like tennis shoes. In comparison the stylus tip I prefer for responsiveness is the very soft rubbery one(like a worn in rubber band feel) that looks more spongey.
In the end, it's not expensive, but my recommendation is do not buy.
