This was a Christmas present for my boyfriend. I was surprised when I received it that it was so fancy. In the picture I thought it looked nice and fairly basic. The thing that you can't really see is that the hours are marked with to CZ crystals and it makes it a lot flashier than I would have thought. Very beautiful watch.

This watch has a big face and dial. It takes up my whole wrist width. That in itself makes a statement of one kind regarding fashion that you are wearing. It is a silver matte, not white dial face. The crystals are just crystals, not CZ's like someone said but crystals have some lead added for more luster.

It is not a screw down crown. It is a one click up for setting the date quickly in reverse and the upper pull on the crown will set the time. Not screw down. But nice to change the date faster than rolling the hands around for hours to change the date.

The crystals sparkle depending on the light in the room and the color reflections of things in the room. In some rooms it does nothing but look like low sparkle and some places it blings; But I don't think it has too much sparkle, just enough. I can't hardly make out the small bezel crystals but that is a nice touch to not be too over bearing. Can't figure out what the little marks are used for between the 0 and 10 second marks. Time is accurate within 1 second per day for me. I'll have to let it go a month then check it again. Might be better than that but everyone's watch is different maybe by your movements which might hinder or throw off the quartz movement or maybe temperature and condition of the battery.

The band to me is super stout and the clasp is Fossil's one push off lock and high quality. It's a classy watch. I will only wear mine with upper casual to formal type of wear. Don't wear it to a bankruptcy hearing. Good for higher paid office workers as it has sophistication and not over luxurious. Cops NO.(unless you're the Chief or Captain) Construction workers NO. Military NO.

Overall nice piece and quite a flowing and harmonious design incorporation as a whole. Still growing on me after a few days of wearing it. (not physically but it looks like it did)

Compared to other Fossil watches I`ve owned over the years, this one feels flimsy and rather cheap. The band has already fallen apart and had to take it to a watch repairman to put the clasp back together...

I've had this watch for over a month now, everything seems to work fine, keeps great time, looks great for a $75 dollar watch, can't seem why anyone would have any complaints about it.

I ended up returning this watched the day I got it. Nothing wrong with it except the picture is a bit deceptive. I didn't like the look of it. Each hour marker is a rectangular fake diamond. There were also a few small circular diamonds around the bezel. Not my kind of thing. These diamonds are hard to see in the picture, but they certainly sparkle in real life. I did like the clear date display.
