A Great Continuation Of The Isaac's Universe Series!,
By Teresa R Meadows (Orlando, FL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Fossil (DAW book collectors) (Paperback)
This book is a great continuation of the overall Isaac's Universe concept. The other three books are great, as is this one. This book is a great continuation, in novel form, of the Issac's Universe series. I wish more big name sci-fi writers like Hal Clement would write about this universe which Isaac Asimov created. I would recommend for anyone that likes good science fiction to read this book.

Read something else by Hal Clement,
This review is from: Fossil (DAW book collectors) (Paperback)
The style in "Fossil" is totally different to other books by Hal Clement. Much too wordy, repetitive and boring. I got the impression that he might be trying to imitate Asimov's style -- which I'm not fond of, but of course opinions may differ on that. For a good book by Hal Clement, try his excellent "Mission of Gravity", or "Close to critical" instead.
