After owning this watch for a little while now, I am pleased with the look and feel of this piece. I must remind you this an automatic, so you have to reset the time and date if you don't wear it often. It is a big piece but again is very comfortable. The 1 thing that the pictures don't show is the spinning bearing lining the inside of the watch, this is very attractive and makes the watch even more stunning.

Just as specified, this was a very sought after color for the watch. and it was just as specified.. great.

This watch is awesome, and would totally have merited five stars had I not spent an hour trying to remove two links in the armband. I don't have one of those kits to remove the links, and let me tell you--it was a painful process. The default setting assumes you weigh about 300 lbs. or so, and more normal-sized gents are going to want to remove a link or two. Be prepared for a long afternoon.

Still, it's a great-looking watch. You do have to adjust the time every 3-5 weeks, as the auto-winding feature will eventually get off by a couple of minutes, but that's standard for all auto-winding watches. It's a little bigger than I had expected: the entire case is about two inches across; the face is perhaps 1.5, 1.6 inches. It is not in any way dainty. It's got a good, solid feel on your wrist, and the snap closure works perfectly. It's sturdy and attractive: I definitely get compliments on it.

So aside from a minor headache on day one, I love this watch. I've had a digital watch for years, but in this era of cell phones and PDAs, who actually sets an alarm, anyway? Get an autowinding mechanical watch with no electric parts, and get with the 21st century.

This is deliberately designed as a large watch. If you want something delicate to go with a classic business suit this really isn't for you. If you like a stylish substantial timepiece you should be satisfied. The quality of the workmanship and materials are remarkable for the price. The quality and heft of the stainless and thick crystal are very nice, but it is the pairing with the quality Japanese movement that makes this a very worthwhile purchase. The movement is made by Citizen under its Miyota label. If you search online you'll find numerous reviews of this movement which is highly sought after by those who want a high quality and reliable automatic watch that is affordable. It is not surprising that it is coveted because it is one of the only true Japanese automatic movements still on the market. Many automatic watch collectors who own a Rolex and an Omega will also own a watch with this movement in it. The remaining automatic watches on the market either have Chinese movements, which are generally dreadful, or Swiss movements, which run the range from great to incredible and will set you back an arm and a leg or an arm and a leg and a second mortgage on the house.

Bought this watch as a retirement gift for someone, and everyone was very impressed! It's even better-looking in person. Even though it is a little bit on the heavy side, the automatic movement is wonderful - no batteries to change. If you want to make a statement ("Here I am, look at me!") this watch certainly fits the bill.

I bought this watch for my husband who frequently has meltdowns over watch batteries (and the cost to replace them). It is a thick, sturdy watch while still being very attractive. My husband is rough on his watches and this one has lasted beautifully. The only complaint I hear from him is that he has to reset the time every other day, or the minutes slowly get "off." And since it is motion reliant for the battery, if you take it off for a few days (beach vacation) it is going to need manual winding when you put it back on. He has gotten many, many compliments on this watch! (Even more when he tells them he is no longer a slave to the watch battery!)

I got my new Fossil Black Face Rotor watch just 2 days ago and Im already in love with it! It looks stunning and has the large, hefty appearance that looks and feels MUCH more expensive than it is. Noone believes that I got it under $100! It's VERY large and heavy, which is what you want in this style watch. The band is quite large, but I'm a bigger guy so it fits like a dream as is. If you are thin, you may want to get an armband kit to take a link out. The spinning rotor mechanism is very cool, and is fun to play with and it really catches peoples eye. I've gotten tons of compliments in just 2 days. Because of the great cost/value ratio, I was also able to purchase another watch. (Casio Waveceptor Solar Atomic- which also is very cool) So I may have to reset the time when I dont wear it for a couple days, but thats ok. Not a huge deal! I almost want to order the darker gray watch now, just to have a 2nd one! HIGHLY RECOMEND

This watch came on time. I stay in India and i ordered thru' amazon. I got the package within 3 days which is really really very fast. I will surely buy from the seller again next time. Highly reliable and very efficient service.

Fossil itself is a very good brand and i jus love the way this watch looks. Highly sophisticated and rich. It is heavy and bulky.Box is too pretty as well. My husband was very happy to receive this from me and he juz loves the look of it.

This watch is a little bigger and bulkier than I expected it to be, but overall I still loved the way it looked. It's color is perfect and the face gives is a very sofisticated look to it.

My boyfriend was very impressed with the watch and has been wearing it 3 days a week since he got it-he has an active job that might damage the watch so he doesn't wear it to work. It keeps wonderful time-even though he lets it sit on his dresser for 4 days a week he's never had to reset the date or the time.

One word of caution though-this watch does not come with instructions, they were found easily on the Fossil website and the store was helpful and quick in removing the extra links. Other than that very minor issue this watch is a great deal and any man would love it!

a well balanced watch for the weight. I have an average sized wrist and this is very comfortable. I plan on making this my casual weekend or dress down day watch...would not call it a dress watch but compared to a diver watch I guess it is a bit dressier...resizing took less than 10 minutes with a cheap tool and a pair of needle nose pliers. The look is rugged but sleek and the visual of the winding fly wheel adds a level of coolness...pulling on the winding knob advances the date...
