Grade 2-4-- Two more additions to the series. Clowning Around uses the circus as the theme for its 60-odd jokes; Fossil Follies concentrates on dinosaurs. As with most riddle books, some of the jokes are rather far-fetched, while others show originality. In both, the art, in pen and ink with the addition of one color, is whimsical if spare. The layout, with illustrations always on the right side of a double-page spread, and with three or four riddles on the left and one beneath the picture, makes for monotony. I wanted this book to share jokes with my grandsons - ages 5 and 6. Too few jokes were clever or funny. We all felt we could have done better than the authors
