I disagree with the above reviewer, I loved this band, it was thick, high quality, soft leather. Great for someone like me who looks for a way to hide very thin wrists, the width of the band was a great way to make your smaller wrists seem wider.

My only complaint would be that the date dial (The small white dot) was a little too small, almost difficult to read.

Five stars from me, not to mention, MyTimepiece has amazing shipping speed and is an all around great seller!

The face of this watch is large and easy to read- which is fantastic! The band, on the other hand (or wrist!), is a little bulkier than I had imagined. I have a wrist size of about 8 inches in circumference (which is fairly large for a female) but this band is just too much! I am forced to turn the face to the inside of my wrist to avoid painful rubbing and uncomfortable seating on the bone that sticks out of my wrist (I have no idea what it's called and don't feel like researching it for this). Which, I'm sure, will result in the face getting scratched once I start to become less aware of it being there (that will take some time, though!!).
I knew getting a fat band would be a big change, but I think this band may be just a little too much for my larger than average wrists. Then again- my wrists are actually quite boney with minimal extra tissue. So, if my wrists were fattier, but the same size in circumference, this band would actually probably work quite well.
I'd recommend it to other women with large wrists and large hands, but if these same women only have large wrists and hands because of body structure as opposed to body tissue, then I would not recommend it. With time the leather will soften and feel less like a hard cardboard cuff around my wrist, but I don't think it will stop the uncomfortable seating on the wrist because the face is so large. The separate band that holds the face in place is quite stiff and will take much longer to soften up, as well.
The design is perfect for what I was searching for, though. Casual, yet still a nice watch. It's too nice to wear while hiking, but would feel comfortable wearing to casual events and gatherings.
Like I said, I'd recommend it to women with large wrists and hands, unless they have boney wrists. Definitely worth the price!
