5.0 out of 5 stars nice watch!
the watch is a nice weight and came wrapped and in the fossil box with papers. I gave it as a birthday present, and got it for a steal! It's a business casual watch- and the number marks have crystal details which make it dressy, but not formal. You wont be disappointed.

3.0 out of 5 stars beware hot tubs!
The watch works well and says water resistant up to 100 meters, but just hours after getting it I went in a hot tube with it on (<4 ft deep). After about an hour in the tub the watch face was completely fogged up and after it cooled there were several water droplets.

I went to a fossil store after and they said that the only thing they'd do is open it up...

The watch works well and says water resistant up to 100 meters, but just hours after getting it I went in a hot tube with it on (<4 ft deep). After about an hour in the tub the watch face was completely fogged up and after it cooled there were several water droplets.

I went to a fossil store after and they said that the only thing they'd do is open it up and let it dry out, but we all know that when water gets in a watch it needs to be cleaned or else rust will slowly destroy the watch. I decided to be lazy and just let them open it up.

It's been months now and the watch is water free and keeps time just as well as any other time piece, so I guess I got lucky. it's fine in showers and washing hands.. but beware the 1-2 feet of hot tub water!

3.0 out of 5 stars Have it sized by a professional, December 16, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

Over all, it is a nice watch. The only problem I had was removing the band links to resize the diameter. Unless you know what you are doing, don't even attempt doing it yourself, you will most likely screw it up.

4.0 out of 5 stars Minor issues, September 17, 2009
This review is from: Fossil Men's Analog Blue Dial Watch AM4117 (Watch)
This is a very stylish watch. I get complements on it quite often. It holds time well and isn't loud however, I've noticed that when I reach into my left jean pocket, often the side button thing that sets the watch time will get hung up or pop out rendering the watch useless as far as keeping time is concerned. That has been the only problem I've had and I've just been more attentive to the issue when I reach into my pocket and everything has been fine.
