The picture used here really shows a stunning watch, but I had no idea just how gorgeous it would be until I saw it in person. It's truly stunning.

The rose gold is a little lighter than copper, but accentuates red and other autumn colours quite well. The black of the ion coating is matte on the flat side (almost a matte black brushed steel look to it) and glossy on the edges.

This is the perfect watch for those who want a striking look to accompany their business casual autumn colours, or for those with darker skin than mine to wear with other colours (pale-skinned people, take note -- if there's a good bit of blue in your skin, this may look a little odd). However, the black surrounding all of it helps to tone down any clashes it may have, and it's guaranteed to look stylish with a variety of clothing choices.

As for functionality, it's basic. Time, day, date, and seconds. The hour and minute hand are 'luminescent' (glow in the dark), so you should be able to see them in the dark for a while. I've several Fossil watches, and like all the others, the 11 year warranty is outstanding, and the watch mechanics are in prime condition. You won't be disappointed.

I really love the watch as the rose colored gold is not over bearing and it goes with dress or casual attire. One comment was made about the dates being small, and it does take more than a quick glance to see the date. The day sub dail however can be easily seen, and having a sub dial for the second hand is a rather nice touch that is not seen very often in this price range of watches. Overall I am very pleased with this watch and would recommend it to others.

I wanted a watch that had chronograph features but would look good with both casual and business attire to replace (supplement) my yellow faced Pulsar that wasn't a full blooded chronograph with its second hand and date that I've had for 10 years. Its a fine watch keeps good time like my 3 Seikos but didn't lend itself to more dressy occasions.

I searched a bunch of watch websites and actually came across this Fossil multi function early on in my hunt. I wanted a black dial with day of week, second hand, and date (3 separate dials) without the usual chronograph bevel. I also wanted a watch that was larger than my Pulsar which is about 38mm across so that, with my senior citizen vision, I could easily read the time o' day. And it had to have easy to see highly contrasting colored hands on that black background. And it had to be a really classy looking watch preferably with gold highlights with a black band or bracelet and it would help it it kept reasonably accurate time.

Sure I came across some watches that were a bit more dazzling in what I was looking for but I couldn't see investing in a watch that costs a couple of house payments that can be lost, stolen, or run over by a truck.

Well, this Fossil met all my requirements and it was just 59 bucks.

I got me one on Amazon. When I opened that neat tin box it came in it was even more than I hoped it would be.
Have to confess that the watch picture on the Amazon website has a pinkish look to the hands, numerals, and rim. Made me a bit nervous...I'm not into pink. But after reading one of the owner reviews that said it has a more of a coppery look I felt better about ordering it and when I took it out of the box it looks more gold than copper to me anyway. Which pleases me to no end. The gold numerals catch light very nicely and enhance the readability of the dial.

But the bottom line this is one elegant watch. It's bigger than my Pulsar (42mm) feels good and looks good on my arm. I couldn't be more pleased. Went to a Fossil store at one of the malls here and they sized it at no charge.

After checking area shopping malls, catalogs, advertisements and the infathomable internet, I decided on this Fossil model. Seiko and Pulsar are good quality and value (I own three), but I wanted something a little more exciting. Here comes the Fossil. Unique face design and brilliant colors. Three dials that include, seconds, day of week and day of month. About all you need these days. The salesman set everything for me and I haven't had to touch it since. The real test of a watch is how it works after a year or two, but I have a feeling this Fossil will still be running and looking good...

I just received this watch today as a birthday gift. I love it already. It's of a very classic design. The black/orange dial reminds me of a car speedometer. The three dials(seconds, days of month, day of week) are unique in this design. This is a very enjoyable watch to wear and view. I'll get back to you on its durability.

This watch is gorgeous. After being fitted for it, it's very comfortable. It is classy enough to wear with formal clothing but can still be pulled off for casual wear. Previous review says that the dials are too small but this is untrue. I can easily tell what the date is, as well as day, time and seconds. I've gotten nothing but compliments from this watch and it is priced very well.

This watch is simple great. When you first use it you can not be sure if people will like it. But after a while.. when they see it... well it makes a good impression.

As stated by others, it is a very attractive watch. However, as also mentioned, the small dials are difficult, if not impossible, to read. Even the main face is dark. Also, the watch is quite heavy. Lastly, it came with NO user's manual for setting the date or day of week. Emails to Fossil were unanswered except for an automated response that a reply that never came would come. I returned the watch.

This watch has a great design and looks very sporty. A great casual wear.
