I had been eyeing a high-end designer watch on Amazon for weeks. I wanted a gold (or goldtoned) watch for daily wear. When I realized that this Fossil watch was a near carbon copy for the designer watch? I removed the designer one from my cart and purchased this one. What a great decision. It has a great design and it goes w/everything. I will have to get a couple of links removed (I have a small wrist), but I have to do that with every bracelet watch I own. This watch came at a great price point, and I don't feel like I slighted myself at all buy not getting the more expensive one.

A warning: this watch is big! Big and heavy! If you aren't used to wearing a large watch, I suggest trying this one on at a store. It took a month to get used to the weight and I still have to take it off when I'm at work on a computer because it impedes my wrist movement.

The date and day of the week display stopped working after 6 months. I sent it for repair, but I have to pay for shipping both ways... $15. Then they sent me a brand new watch, which is great but I had to pay to get it resized again... $10. So $25 for a warranty covered repair.

Aside from the repair work, the quality of the watch seems good. The finish hasn't wore and the face withstands scratches well.

It is a statement watch- people notice it. I've gotten lots of compliments on it, though my sister thinks it looks like an old man's watch... to each their own.

This watch is really nice looking, looks expensive. I've received lots of compliments in the short time I've had it. However, for functional purposes two things stand out that weren't so great. The 'champagne' color dial face, is too dark. Much more gold than champagne, making it blend too closely with the numbers and difficult to read. Secondly, in the watch manual, there are no directions for removing a link. The band runs large for a lady and I had extra expenses at a jeweler to get a good fit.

Arrived quickly & as it was a gift, that was great. The person receiving the gift loved it. No problems so far.

After my first Fossil watch I was sold! the quality and craftmanship you simply can't beat. The price through Amazon is awesome. I am very pleased with this purchase.
