This watch is a great value. I gave it to my wife as a present and she loved it. She says that she's already gotten a few complements on the watch.

Pros: Not as expensive as the other ceramic watches you see out there. Mother of pearl face looks GREAT, the picture does not do it justice. Fossil seems to be a solid watch maker so I don't expect problems. It's easy to resize if you have a precision screw driver. Its face is large so it makes a nice visual impact.

Cons: As with all link bands the size might not be perfect. My wife seems to be in-between two sizes. Although the band seems to be solid ceramic, the case has ceramic material only on the top. The sides of the casing are stainless steel. This kind of detracts from the shiny ceramic look but it still looks great.

I very much wanted a ceramic watch, but this was way more ceramic than i bargined for. The dial size is 40+mm. I returned it for a smaller one. before you buy go to fossil's web site and they have a size guide you can print out that has thier watch sizes that you can cut out and view on your wrist to see which size would look best on you. The picture online does not do justice to the watch. It is very pretty and a really good deal for a ceramic watch. Much cheaper than buying from the Fossil store.

To start, I love this watch. The feel is great and the look is even better. The only downfall is the band size. I feel that the two extra links should be included with the watch when purchasing.

It's gorgeous, chunky, shiny and white - perfect for summer against a little bit of a tan, and the oversized proportions are great for a girl like myself whose hands and wrists aren't super-petite. Girly and yet so practical, totally fine in the surf so I don't risk losing it to beachthieves, and I've only just realised it glows in the dark so its the perfect bedside clock on nights away! I'd been hunting this look for a while and this price was cheaper by at least $50 than the closest competitor.

I received this watch promptly after order. It is more beautiful than I imagined. An excellent price for a ceramic watch! I purchased it at the end of the summer so I didn't wear it much this year, but I can't wait for next summer. I will live in this watch. Very comfortable!

I used to never be into Fossil, then I got a friend who started working there and she really got me into these watches! Needless to say I now have 4 watches from Fossil. This was the third one I purchased and I love it because, at least on me when my skin is tan, it really pops! It looks beautiful, it is a nice weight (i.e. doesn't feel cheap!), and looks great. There are 3 dials in the watch itself: 1) For the day of the week (Mon-Sun) 2) For the date (1-31) and 3) Military time (1-24). Then of course the time. The minute and second hand also glow in the dark so that is a neat touch! The only problem I have had with this watch is setting it! With 3 dials and the time, it can get a little complicated. But to set the Date (1-31) pull the knob out one click and turn the dial towards you, this will change the date (for when it gets off when months don't have 31 days). The Military time should never mess up and the days the week shouldn't either. If the days of the week does, I just usually mess with the time (pull the knob out two clicks) and turn the time from midnight the night before to a couple hours after and the hand will move and you can keep doing this until it gets to the right day. I also like this watch because it is simple and does not have crystals or anything. This is elegant and not over the top. Overall, love this watch and would reccommend! :)

I did not buy this item, it came to me by mistake and I would like to return it. I have written several times and am waiting for a response. Please respond, I want to return it now. The cost has shown up on my pay pal and I want it removed! As for the item I have not opened the box so I have nothing to say. I gave you 5 stars, but please tell me where I can send it!!!

The look of this watch is fantastic. It is lovely and I always receive compliments. Buuuuuut... I have had this watch about a year and a half now and I have had to send it to be repaired THREE times. The ceramic band shatters very easily. The sales guys at the Fossil store acted like the tile floors in my house were the problem. I think I was under the impression that ceramic watches were supposed to be very break resistant. Fortunately, Fossil offers fantastic repairs for under thirty bucks, but three times is maybe a little too much. The repairs are doubling the cost of the watch at this point. Not so worth it. I could have just sprung for a Toy watch. In fact, I think I probably will.

I recommend NOT buying this watch. My sister and I both purchased the Fossil CE1000 on a cruise ship for full price $200 each. It was a fun bonding purchase. We loved the big clunky look and the mother of pearl face until a few days after the purchase and we were off the ship. The screw that attaches the watch band to the watch fell out of one watch a few days after purchase. One end of the screw was so tiny, we never found it. We sent that one in for repair and Fossil's hired service center fixed the watch without charge in about 10 days.

In light of this, we had the screws in the second watch (mine)tightened by a jeweler. But within a month of purchase, I lost a screw out of my watch band. I had a lot more difficulty with getting the screw replaced and the entire experience has made me not like anything Fossil. It was the most frustrating experience in recent history. After over a month of no action from Fossil, I actually went on line on Amazon.com and bought a white ceramic Bianci watch which I LOVE more than this watch. The Bianci is better quality watch and I have no fear that the screws holding the band on the watch will fall out. I have since given my Fossil CE1000 away to a friend so that I don't have to look at something that casued me so much trouble. There is definitely a design flaw with the screw Fossil uses in this model. So, BUYER BEWARE -- pick another brand watch.
