This is the exact same thing you would by if you were to purchase the olympus adapter. (om-f1 i think is the model) Works excellent with my old om-zuiko lenses and teleconverters. Makes my old lenses even BETTER than my $500 digital lenses, but you have to shoot in full manual mode, which i always do anyway. Buy this one not the $100 olympus version. ITS THE SAME EXACT THING!

This is the second Fotodiox lens adapter that I've bought, and both work flawlessly. For a long while I've had two Olympus OM lenses laying around, a 135mm and a 50mm f3.5 macro. Well I guess they felt lonesome stuck on a back shelf, and when an opportunity to buy a Lumix G1 body came up, I did. And, I got a Fotodiox adapter to mount the lenses on the G1. Well, somewhat later, I picked up an Olympus E-600 with the kit lens at a great price. By this time, I had gotten several more Oly OM lenses used on eBay - to use on the G1.

Since the Fotodiox for the G1 had worked so well, I bought the Fotodiox adapter for the OM lenses to Oly E bodies. Now, this adapter works just as well. The build is excellent, with a tight fit, not loose but not overly tight either. Mounting it on the camera, and mounting OM lenses on it feel like this adapter was made by Olympus, and fit and finish is great. Nope, it doesn't support auto-focus or auto aperture, but if you read the description of the product, you know that before you buy it. After reading two reviewer's comments, I've been checking closely the adapter, camera body lens mount, and the lenses mounting flange for any type of wear, and have yet to find any. I do quite a bit of nature photography, and Spring is a good season here in Florida. On an average day shoot here in the forests, swamps, and rural countryside, I may change lenses back and forth from telephoto to macro to wide angle 4 - 8 times during the course of the day. And, as I said earlier, I have seen no wear.

This adapter offers you the ability to use some great OM lenses with the E bodies, and at a price that's so low it's almost absurd. I can, and will, highly recommend this product.

Hello, I purchased this adapter to use my OM 50mm macro on the E-620 and it works like a charm. The lock tightness is just right on both the lens and the camera body. With all my respect for Olympus, it is a great, inexpensive alternative to the original.

Product works well and it's great to be able to use my old lenses. Only concern is that the adapter-to-lens mount is a tad loose and you can feel some slop in that connection - you can feel and hear the connection move anytime you shift the camera. Everything stays attached, pictures are turning out with no issues but it feels and sounds poor. Not sure if all are like this or if the Olympus product is the same way but it detracts from my confidence in the product. FYI, the camera-to-adapter connection is rock solid. If both attachments worked as well as the adapter to body, I'd give this 5 starts.

Fits snugly on my E-1 and OM f1.4.
I don't see anything amiss with this product.

With a lot cheaper price than the original Oly adapter (like 5 times!), this Fotodiox is your best choice!
I found it easy to mount to both my E-620 and the OM 50mm f/1.8. They are tighten very well together.
The material seems to be good, all metal and good finishing (smooth color and surface)
Cannot find any flaw right now :)
Very satisfy... I am now waiting for the OM->m4/3 for my new E-PL1.

Excellent materials and construction, it firmly and solidly attached to the mounting ring on my Olympus E-520 camera body and my Olympus Zuiko lenses for my OM-2.

I had no problems getting it work with the camera and lenses in manual mode, and I'm extremely happy that I'll be able extend the useful like of my expensive Zuiko OM lenses.

This mount adapter looks to be every bit as good as the Olympus adapter that's $50 higher.

My wife bought this adapter for me for Christmas and I have been using it for the last 2 months on my E420. It works perfectly with all my Zuiko and OM compatible lenses that I had previously used with my OM4Ti. Best used in manual metering mode with manual focus - but you do get used to this pretty quick. The effective focal length becomes twice the 35mm length - my 50mm standard lens is now a 100mm on the E420. If you have some of the old Zuiko glass the image quality is excellent - I am now using my old 35mm lenses at least as much as my new digital lenses. An excellent alternative to the overpriced Olympus MF-1

I have an olympus OM-10 and i can use the 50mm lens that come with the camera in my Olympus E520 and a sigma 80-120 that one member of my family gave me... is really worth it! i feel really glad about purchasing this. it worked really fine. The only thing you cannot do is the exposure, because its all in the lens, and the camera cannot change them automatically. However, the exposure can be manipulated from the lens directly, so if you love to shoot in manual, you wont have any problem!

Just what I expected. Allows manual use of my old OM lens collection with a new Olympus E-30, at twice the original focal length.
