The lid doesn't have a flap to open and drink from, you have to take the entire lid off.

I'm a photographer and I received this for my birthday. I wanted one, so I was excited to get it, but I was a little disappointed with it as a mug.

The first thing is that the epoxy sticker on the side came off in the dishwasher the first time I washed it. So I realized that it's not to go in the dishwasher. And I was able to glue the sticker back on, so that wasn't a huge issue.

The worst thing is that it doesn't really keep the coffee warm. I have other travel mugs that keep coffee pretty warm for hours, but with this one my coffee was cold, cold, cold within 30 minutes. This can actually be a good thing when you want to drink your coffee right away.

Another minor annoyance is the bottom ring (where the lens would actually attach to a camera) is removable. If you forget to unscrew it and let it dry out after washing, it will leak water.

Still, a very cool gift and amusing.

I received this Fotodiox Tumbler within a few days of ordering and was a little nervous because the reviews on it were good and bad. When I opened it, I was actually very impressed with the attention to detail and the size of the tumbler. I think it will make a great Christmas gift for the photography enthusiast in our family and I just can't wait to see what he thinks of it. The only negative thing about this item is the lid. It is neat, but it screws on and does not have an opening to drink out of. I already was aware of this when purchasing, though, so I'm not going to take off any stars for it. All in all, I really like this gift and believe it will be very well received.

Bought two of these. There is no slot on the top to drink from. You have to remove the top to drink. Try that while you are driving. Did some surgery with my Moto Tool to add a slot and make the cup usable.

When you purchase a travel coffee thermos, you expect to be able to have a slide on the top so you can sip your coffee without spilling. Not so with this one. It may look like a slide in the photo, but it is a solid top that must be removed in order to drink your hot beverage. Good luck the minute you hit a bump! Very disappointed and it was a gift for a friend. Sad.

I love this product because my daughter is a photographer and i got it for her for christmas and she went crazy over it! All of her photography friends thought it was a real lens until she drank from it. So that is why I gave it 5 stars.

I have seen others where you can move the rings - actually mount it to a camera - and where the top allowed you to drink out of it. But for the price this does the trick. came packaged well and delivered quickly (and shipped for free because of another product I ordered). Plus it is 16 oz - larger that a lot of other similar products.

Great little thermal cup for hot or cold liquid. The detail for the outside of the cup is amazing and it has already turned a few heads as people thought I was holding an actual lens to my face. The plastic seems of good quality but the threading on the screw-on lid is a bit tight and I feel like I am going to break it, although I have not yet.
Great novelty buy for camera collectors or photographers.
