Much cheaper than the ones from Olympus. They twist on so they are secure and easy to install. Much better than the push on cheap plastic crap that came with my Olympus EPL-1 camera and lenses.

I bought a few of these after losing an Olympus micro 4/3 rear lens cap. The ones I received are a little taller than the original caps and have the word MICRO imprinted on them along with OPEN and an arrow showing which way to twist the cap. I tried one - it fits my lenses just fine and even mates with the camera body caps perfectly. (Twist them together and they stay mated. Awesome.) However, I should note that the Fotodiox cap requires less rotation to securely fasten onto the lens. I can't conclude that this makes them any less trustworthy than the original caps. After all, I dropped my kit lens onto a table one day and both Olympus caps flew off of it. (The lens was undamaged.) I don't think there's any real difference if you're careful with your equipment.

Looking at the other customer reviews, I wonder if these caps vary considerably in style and quality. I guess I got lucky.

I recently bought a few of the Novoflex lens adapters for use with my Canon "L" FD lenses so I could use them with my AF100. Got these caps for the unmounted lenses and just like the seller said: they are for micro 4 3 lens mounts ... fit nice and snug but not too tight. They do look exactly like they do in the picture except they are branded as Olympus which, if anything, makes me more comfortable knowing they are made by or at least for a reputable photo/video equipment manufacturer.

This rear cap fits most Micro4/3 lenses, but not all, and not equally well. Whereas the Oly and Panasonic rear caps seem to have a tight friction fit, the Fotodiox is a bit rattle-y. And it does not fit the Metabones Nikon F to M4/3 adapter at all. In other words, it falls right off. And no, the Metabones adapter is not cheaply-made. It is a high-quality adapter with a metal bayonet that exhibits no play on my OM-D E-M5, even with a heavy 135mm f3.5 attached.

Fits my 4/3 lenses perfectly! For the price it is hard to beat! I purchased this to put on a lens adapter so I could leave the adapter on the lens and use this to protect the back while not attached to the camera. Works great for me and I will use this vendor again in the future. It is not shown in the picture but on mine, above the 4/3 logo is the Olympus brand name.

I had ordered a couple of adapters for older manual focus lens and did not realize they did not come with camera caps; so I went look for a reasonable rear lens cap. I only need 2; but given the cost vs cost of shipping went ahead and ordered a few extras. They fit fine. Only possible negative (and this is very minor so I did not reduce rating) is that they might be more brittle than olympus oem caps (which are thicker and softer plastic).

High quality plastic. Tight fit on both my Olympus lenses as well as my Fotodiox adapter. Unlike the photo, mine has raised lettering that reads "OLYMPUS". This rear cap is literally indistinguishable from my other two Olympus rear caps. So much so that I can't tell which one is the one I received from Fotodiox! I will buy another when I order my Minolta to M4/3 adapter.

This was part of my first Fotodiox purchase, and I'm very pleased. Cap fits snuggly and locks into place. It's actually better than the stock cap that came on my original lens (which was thinner plastic, didn't lock, and honestly didn't fit as well either), and cheaper than a replacement one from Olympus. Will definitely purchase from this vendor again.

This rear lens cap is not quite as tight on several of my lenses as the ones made by Panasonic or Olympus. I guess there is a small difference in lens sizes for it to be snug on some but not others, but the name brand ones are tight no matter what lens they are on. Not a big deal, but something I have to pay attention to. Otherwise it works fine.

For the price, you really can't go wrong. I am using these on my MFT to Canon FD lens adapters. They fit tightly and securely. If you change lenses a lot like I do, these with the lens cap leashes really come in handy.

I ordered mine from Fotodiox Inc. and they were delivered very quickly.

Hope this helps!
