I purchased this adapter to use an OM-mount Vivitar Series 1 90mm portrait/macro lens with my Canon 5D Mark II. Made of metal, it's a little tight when mounting it to or removing it from the camera -- and it may loosen up a bit with use -- but it does the job. I was able to use the Viv lens on the 5D2 for a studio shoot with no technical issues; the model was pleased with the images. Any focusing problems were the product of my aging eyes and the lack of a proper focusing screen for manual focus. Recommended.

The Fotodiox Pro Adapter for Olympus OM lenses to Canon mount is a sturdy, well machined, well built piece of equipment. I received an Olympus OM-1 with three lenses as a gift and immediately wanted to snap the lenses onto my Canon EOS 650. I found this online, ordered it and it works perfectly. None of the lenses are loose, there are no light leaks, it's a snug fit all around.
My only critique is that the clearance is so small, for at least one of my Olympus lenses, I can't remove it from the camera without removing the lens and adapter. There is just no way to get your fingers into that space to release the lens.
That's it. Other than that minor issue, this works exactly like it should.

This lens fits snugly. So snugly in fact that I had to wrench it hard with my hand to push the rear pin back thus allowing me to use the manual aperture. There was zero play in this connection. Unfortunately, and this was critical to what I'm going to use it for, focusing to infinity is impossible with this lens on a full size sensor such as the 5D. You can focus to about 6 feet in front of you, give or take, but everything beyond that will appear blurry. This was truly frustrating, especially after I spent $70 on this guy from a maker whom I've counted on in the past. Live and learn.

This adapter ring functions just as advertised. Tight slop-free fit. Lens still focuses to infinity. Very pleased to be able to use these great Zuiko OM lenses.
