Extremely happy with this. Absolutely great quality. The difference it the shots are very noticeable. The hood screams professional. Only problem that I noticed, when shooting in our cameras high-speed mode of 600 fps, the hood is able to be seen around the very edges of the screen. Able to be fixed by zooming just a hair before hitting record. 5 star product!

I love this lens hood. First of all it makes your camera look professional. It helps with footage too, obviously it blocks some amount of light. Really get this if you want your footy to look better and more professional.

I recently bought the fotodiox 37mm Lens hood and got exactly what I wanted, a small affordable hood that can easily be taken on and off. My only concern is the construction is weaker than expected, but it will not be a problem with normal use. One thing I liked is that on my Canon HF200, the lens hood WASN'T in view, a plus for me. One thing to check is that if the hood will block the microphone of your camera.

This hood is a bit smaller than I realized and just a bit difficult to secure tightly to the lens but it works as intended.
