I thought Pegi's first album was great, but this new second album is also a delight. Backed by mostly the same band as her Vapor Records debut, Rick The Bass Player, Spooner Oldham, Ben "Long Grain" Keith, Anthony "Sweet Pea" Crawford and drummer Phil Jones, her band knocks the ball out of the ballpark with this release. Laidback country folk sounds are all around, with Pegi's pleasant voice and superb backing band. And yes, Neil, is around for a few tracks that were left over from the originial album sessions. The first 5000 copies include a wonderful dvd entitled, "Love Like Water", a concert film of the PY band from NY's 2007 Tower Theater performance directed by Jonathan Demme and produced by Bernard Shakey himself and the late great LA Johnson, the sound is LPCM 96khz 24 Bit Stereo. It will make a great companion to Neil Young Trunk Show when that Blu-ray is released later this year. Also, the album artwork is very nice, featuring Pegi and Neil's dog, Carl, on the disc itself and a piece from Amber Young.

One would only expect excellence from the wife of Neil Young. But putting her husband aside she holds her own on this fine CD. Excellent written songs and her voice is A+ with a good backing band. Highly reccomend this CD.

i have always loved neil young and his music but to see his wife peggy young i had to have it and i must say she knows how to rock. and i love the dvd of peggy young it was a great price and great cd dvd collection. anybody that loves neil would love this cd dvd set. peggy young is a great lady and to be with neil young is a blessing they will always be part of my collection. as always forever young god bless bobby lee 007.
