5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT book, September 30, 2003

Thank goodness someone came out with a practical guide. These people that scream 'rehabber!' are usually either rehabbers, or happy to sacrifice the baby squirrel to their almighty esoteric beliefs. The reality is, there might NOT be a rehabber in your area, or, if there is, they may not be able to give the baby the time and attention that it will need to survive. GET THIS BOOK!

3.0 out of 5 stars Killing the baby squirrel, June 15, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: I Found a Baby Squirrel, What Do I Do? (Basic Manual Wildlife Rehabilitation) (Paperback)
Really a bit off base... If you had just found a baby squirrel you would not generally have the necessary items around the house to take care of a baby squirrel.... You most likely are doing it more harm by trying to treat it (other than getting it warm - around 1-2 degrees higher than your normal body temp) take it to a rehabber... get online to get the closest rehaber near your... just type in squirrel in the address and it will find you a dozen locations to find you a rehabber...
