Author Laura Hirsch, a mother of a child with regressive autism, and a gifted psychic medium join forces with the spirit world to solve the riddle of what is causing the autism epidemic that is sweeping across America at an alarming rate - one in 110 children are now autistic.

While the medium channels information from a famous scientist and a former U.S. President located in the spirit world, Hirsch acts as an investigative reporter asking them penetrating questions that eventually reveals the existence of a secret underground government facility in Nevada as a contributing factor to the cause of autism.

Based on a series of interviews with the scientist and President, Hirsch concludes that identifiable emissions from this facility in combination with something else as being the cause of the new wave of autism. She then goes on to reveal the name of the city where the facility is located, the names of the harmful combination, and the means by which it is being spread across the United States.

Hirsch differentiates between classic genetic autism and the new wave of autism and skillfully verifies information derived from the spirit world through use of existing statistical data, published stories and personal interviews with outside sources.

I first heard about this book while listening to a radio interview between George Knapp and author Hirsch on Coast to Coast AM. Beyond this interview, I was curious about the book's contents because I have two friends with autistic children. Though unconventional in its presentation, I found the book to be thought provoking and the facts derived from the author's investigative approach made its conclusion plausible.
