When I went online to find out which textbook was required for my summer chemistry class, the textbook that goes with this study guide was listed. Since I have never taken chemistry before AND the class I am in is composed of 16 weeks of info crammed into 6 weeks, I decided to order the study guide also. Much to my dismay, the day before class started the professor e-mailed to notify everyone that this is the wrong book! I kept both anyway and have been using them as adjuncts to the required book. It is very helpful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice book fast ship, February 5, 2011

This is 12 edition and I took a chance that it matched the newer 13 enough not to pay 150.00

I bought the entire set I would need for my dual enrolled college daughter, Text, solutions , study guide and lab book all in 12th edition instead of the newer 13th. The good news is the BODY of the text in the text book is EXACTLY the same. (they changes a few pix and format but context /words are the same-- example: put this in a pretty little box over here and a new pix) ) What they changed is some of the review and practice problems and of course the cover. They changed about 10-20% % of the review/exercise problems. So she has to consult/copy someone with a newer book for that. I spent 8 dollars copying a friends book in those review /practice sections. Still way worth it! Professor says they only go to chapter 15 in the book, which is a few chapters shy so check with your professor.

I received a nice copy good condition and fast ship. Thank you
