I bought this book after listening to the free online course by Yale with Robert Shiller and now use it for self-studying. The topics are explained thoroughly and it gives you a clear picture of finance. Despite what other comments say, the text is not difficult for understanding. Though I am in high school and English is my second language, I found it quite easy to read and comprehend. The hardcover edition is fine. I would advise this book to everyone.
