4.0 out of 5 stars Good book -- but don't buy it -- the software was discontinued as of Sep, 2009, September 14, 2009
This review is from: Foundations of Popfly: Rapid Mashup Development (Books for Professionals by Professionals) (Paperback)
I bought this book in June, intending to evaluate the utility of Popfly and this book for a client that is interested in mashup applications but doesn't have a lot of software expertise. This is a well-written instruction manual for users who are new to the whole concept of mashups and widgets -- basic concepts are explained and users are walked through methods for tailoring the code to fit their needs.

Unfortunately, Popfly was discontinued by Microsoft at the end of August, 2009. Mr. Griffin is a talented technical writer -- I hope he publishes more titles.
