Portable stroller for the money,
This review is from: Foundations Trio Triple Tandem Stroller, Blue (Baby Product)
We used to have the Peg Perego triplet stroller for our babies when they were first born since the seats fully recline, something not found on the Foundations. Once our babies could sit up, I immediately bought this stroller due to it's quick fold down and portability. My only complaint would be with the wheels, not because they're plastic, but rather because part of the shock mechanism can come apart if it's compressed by the stroller. I found the company very responsive with any replacement parts (had to get a new wheel based on the problem above), they warrany them and will send them free of charge.
Pros: - Portable for taking in the van/SUV. - Folds down in one piece, vs assembling like the Peg Perego - Canvas is easy to clean - Sun shades have good coverage and are easy to position. - Run away break (which some find annoying) is very handy for slowing the stroller down on hills or making a quick stop. - Parts are easy to replace if necessary. - Good customer service from the company. - Good manuverability (assuming the front wheel clocks are off). Cons: - Can be heavy to load since it's one piece. - Seats don't fully recline. - Must be careful not to compress the wheel from the side - A cup holder or two would be nice. I would recommend this stroller to anyone that needs to transport triplets or three children; I love it and would buy it again.

Nice but a little bit of a workout!,

I am a mom of twin 8 month olds and a 2 year old who doesn't like to stay in one spot. So I looked high and low for an affordable triple stroller. There were quite few. So I decided on this one based on price alone. It definitely is a handy stroller: reclines, has ample shade cover, a decent size basket on bottom, and steers quite easily. The few things I've noticed that kinda suck: there is no adult caddy (ie: key holder, drink holder, etc), the basket has a slender opening so it's hard to fit a diaper bag under, and while pushing you have to hold the break down which gets a good hand workout and gets a little exhausting while pushing 3 20-30 pounders around. I definitely get a good workout when I push them around awhile. I think so far it's of good quality though and while it may be difficult to fit in some cars, I found that, with one seat down the twins fit in back and toddler up front, I can technically fit the stroller in the hatch back and all kids in my dodge caliber. Hope this helps and good luck!

Not meant for infants... need to update descrption!,

I bought this stroller after speaking to a rep from Foundations who assured me that the rear seat would fully recline to accommodate a newborn. (An infant carrier does not work with this, so the recline position would be the only way to safely transport a newborn in the stroller.)Even the written description here on Amazon says it is perfect for infants. However, once I opened the box, I discovered that the rear seat does not recline at all. I called Foundations again, and someone tried to tell me it does recline, but they finally went to look at the model in their showroom, and learned that I was right. The prior model did, but not this one. Unfortunately, this has to be boxed up again and shipped back. It's great that Amazon is so understanding about the mishap, but frustrating that I had to order it and get it home before learning that it won't work for my family right now.

Comparing to a Chicco double stroller we used before, this is a much better product.
The frame connections are more solid, better engineered, and the stroller rides and controls much better than the Chicco. Size is surprisingly small folded up, and it fits in the back of our 4runner and Honda pilot easily. The runaway brake system is clever, but I ended up removing the whole system for the sake of ease - the handle is annoying to hold after awhile.(a simple zip tie would even do the trick, but Im picky.) It is no frills, but it does its job very well and we are happy with it.

I'm glad I finally found this stroller for an amazing price! I am a single mommy to 14 month old triplets and I couldn't seem to find a stroller that was easy to manage or in a decent price range. This stroller is great. You do get a workout from having to squeeze the handbrake to make the wheels go, but it is manageable. It is not as bulky as I thought it would be. And is easy to manuever.the only downside is that there isn't a drink/key area and is heavy to get into the trunk. But overall, I'm happy with my purchase! Hope this helps!!!

Foundations Triple Stroller,
This review is from: Foundations Trio Triple Tandem Stroller, Blue (Baby Product)
So when we found out we were having triplets, dollar signs flashed in my eyes. When it came to a stroller that would be versatile enough to use from infancy through hopefully the terrible 3's, it came down to this one, at $350, and the other option was close to $900. So, obviously, we went with this one. We did have the same problem with the springs and the front shocks, I m contacting the company next to hopefully fix that problem. But overall, the stroller is well worth the money. It is a little heavy and a little bulky, but hello, it's a triple stroller. Would you really expect it to be lightweight and sleek??
It is larger than I expected when folded, but we manage to put one seat down in the third row, and it fits in just fine wit out 5 year old in the back. Would buy it again. UPDATE Babies are now 14 months, have been using the stroller since they had control of their heads. Stroller is starting to show wear and tear, definitley can tell we only spent $350 and not $900. The company shipped us new wheels without even asking a question. Easy to install and working well since. I am starting to see that the triplets are already starting to outgrow this stroller. They are stacked on top of each other, without hardly any room between. The middle one pulls the bows out of the first ones hair and so forth. We are looking into getting the Step 2 choo choo wagon soon, or we won't make it with this stroller. And the no cup holder thing is starting to bug me.. looking for an add on cup holder option. Overall, worth the investment for when we needed it... lasted about a year, but we are very active and take it everywhere.

I hate this stroller. It arrived smelling terribly. It is heavy, even for a triple stroller. The seats don't recline enough to accommodate an infant. The bar that you have to squeeze is difficult. You would have to find a way to disable this. A zip tie would work, but would be ugly and annoying. Speaking of ugly, the fabric, or should I say plastic, is awful, cheap, and thin. The wheels are nice, when the brake isn't rubbing against them. The basket is a decent size, but difficult to get to. There are no cup holders or parent trays. I wouldn't recommend this at all. Spend more on something else! The only benefit to this over a peg perego stroller is that it folds without having to disassemble. My friend has a baby trend triple stroller that I love. They no longer make it. If you can find one used, buy it!

The Foundations Trio Triple Stroller is really a great stroller. We had no problem putting it together and it handles so easy. The triplets came six weeks early so we really needed it after we got home with the babies. Thank You Amazon!!!!!!!

Junk, put 2 young toddlers and infant in stroller....could not get 1/4 of the way down the block....terrible design....cheap. The plastic tires scraped against the brake and we could barely maneuver to turn around to head home.
