Book Description

October 1, 1999
This self-guided three to four kilometer walk begins at Sydney Town Hall and takes you to the main fountains, parks, plazas, monuments and historic buildings in the center of Sydney. Well-researched descriptions, within-text photos from Sydney's Mitchell Library Archives, and a handy foldout map work together to orient you to the City of Sydney physically, culturally and historically.

The route passes by museums, department stores, shopping arcades and returns to the hotel district leaving you near Circular Quay, the Opera House, The Rocks and the information centers. You will have a useful foundation for planning your next days. A good path for early morning joggers.

The guide is 32 pages, lightweight, printed on high quality paper and fits into your bumbag.
