As they track down the killer, they quickly realize that their old ways of doing business have new consequences. In this character-driven action-drama from acclaimed director John Singleton (Boyz N the Hood, 2 Fast 2 Furious), four brothers come together to discover that they are bound by ties thicker than blood. The jazzy, orchestral score is by composer David Arnold.

This very entertaining film closes with a song by the great Willie Hutch, Brothers' Gonna Work It Out (from the 1973 film, The Mack). It's the perfect closing tune for the film and it should be on the CD. What a shame!

This soundtrack came to me as a big surprise. When I saw the movie I thought the soundtrack was going to have different types of rap/hip hop music. The soundtrack went really well with the movie. Then again, how can you go wrong with Marvin Gaye? I'll admit the Jackson 5 song kind of throws of the whole motown feel but as you get into the rest of the CD, its almost hard not to sing along and nod your head to some of the greastest music out there! If you're into motown kind of music then this is definitely a CD not to pass up
