4.0 out of 5 stars Brothers' Gonna Work It Out?
This very entertaining film closes with a song by the great Willie Hutch, Brothers' Gonna Work It Out (from the 1973 film, The Mack). It's the perfect closing tune for the film and it should be on the CD. What a shame!

5.0 out of 5 stars Music To My Ears, March 23, 2008
This review is from: Four Brothers (Audio CD)
This soundtrack came to me as a big surprise. When I saw the movie I thought the soundtrack was going to have different types of rap/hip hop music. The soundtrack went really well with the movie. Then again, how can you go wrong with Marvin Gaye? I'll admit the Jackson 5 song kind of throws of the whole motown feel but as you get into the rest of the CD, its almost hard not to sing along and nod your head to some of the greastest music out there! If you're into motown kind of music then this is definitely a CD not to pass up

5.0 out of 5 stars Great music complements a great movie, July 10, 2009
This review is from: Four Brothers (Audio CD)
The soundtrack for the movie "Four Brothers" is a great as the movie itself. The music takes you back to those Motown days of soul filled straight to the heart groves. Each song complements the movie in its own special way for that particular movie moment and adds to the character of each actor. The "Four Brothers" soundtrack is a wonderful buy for a step back in time when music speaks to you in only the way Motown can!

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding soundtrack for excellent film, August 15, 2008
This review is from: Four Brothers (Audio CD)
When Marvin Gaye's I WISH IT WOULD RAIN plays, and Mark Wahlberg cries, you know it is the perfect combination of great music and a great director (John Singleton) with an outstanding cast. Buy the film score also.
