It is really good the story's are pretty good. They are"not teaching me or my sister to do anything wrong or bad. I especially like the story: a pocket full of dinosaurs because it is giving me information about dinosaurs and I love dinosaurs. I also like the other story's because they are just plain fun and funny. You should get this book because all of the story's are fun and exiting. Also, If you have seen any of Scott Gordon's other books and liked them you should get this one too.

This is the complete review as it appears (http://ianwoodnovellum.blogspot.com/2015/01/four-more-fantastic-bedtime-stories-for.html) at my blog dedicated to reading, writing (no 'rithmatic!), movies, & TV</a>. Blog reviews often contain links which are not reproduced here, nor will updates or modifications to the blog review be replicated here. Graphic and children's reviews on the blog typically feature two or three images from the book's interior, which are not reproduced here.

Note that I don't really do stars. To me a book is either worth reading or it isn't. I can't rate it three-fifths worth reading! The only reason I've relented and started putting stars up there is to credit the good ones, which were being unfairly uncredited. So, all you'll ever see from me is a five-star or a one-star (since no stars isn't a rating, unfortunately).

I rated this book WORTHY!

Today happens to be Scott Gordon day on my blog. I've favorably reviewed this author's children's books before. Apart from misdientifying a whale as a fish, and some issues of repetition, I liked the previous set of four, which was all about animals. I liked this one, too.

It's another four-pack, but these stories are a little bit more fantastical - well three of them are, anyway. The fourth one is about heart health, which I found commendable.

Two are about dinosaurs and were very well done (and accurate as far as my amateur eye could tell). Of course, we don't really know what color dinos were (with very few exceptions) and in a children's book it doesn't matter, so there were no issues there.

The pictures are excellent and very well drawn; they're very colorful and designed to be especially attractive to the target audience of children ages three to six.

I downloaded this during a promotional period while it was free thinking my three year old would enjoy it. The text is cute and was sometimes funny and even clever but that alone was not enough to hold my son's attention. The illustrations are very like the cover images - usually a single image on a white background. They are well done but they are very simple. What you see on the covers is what you get on every page. For some kids, this may be enough. My son was a little bored. He likes to have a lot going on on each page. As a mom, I liked these books. They were age appropriate and didn't have any content that I found inappropriate. I liked the illustrations and thought they were well done. Thus the 3 star rating. I liked it but my three-year-old wasn't so impressed, unfortunately. I think maybe kids slightly younger or older than mine will enjoy this.

So I saw this book and thought well it is for younger kids but maybe K might enjoy this as I know it will have pictures. Umm both K and A didn't really enjoy the book as much as I thought. The only book K enjoyed was the Happy Healthy Heart other than that he was bored with the other stories. There are few words but a lot of pictures which I think more kids will enjoy as the pictures are very colorful and go well with the story.
There are 4 different stories and they are not all that long which makes it good for bedtime.
For us this wasn't the book that we liked reading but you may just enjoy it more.

Four great stories that you're child can read themselves or you can help them along I can't tell you which one she enjoyed the most as they all had something unique that piqued her interest.

I would recommend this book for children ages 6 and up due to the dinosaurs content. My daughter found it simply amazing...

Wonderful job again Mr. Gordon. Always chock full of learning that's fun.

Happy reading! 💋

We just came across all of Scott Gordon's books this evening. We read , and can't wait until bedtime tomorrow to read more. I started reading to both kids from my iPad at night. Kindle unlimited has been great. Until now it's been a little tough finding books that my three year old son can follow, but are also interesting for my six year old daughter. These are all PERFECT!! Looking forward to reading them all!
