An amazing CD with an amazing story behind it., May 8, 2000
This review is from: Four-Hand Piano (Audio CD)
This is a cd that remains, while others come and go, in my cd changer. Having seen the two play Four Hand Piano at Disneyland many, MANY times, I bought the CD the day it came out and have listened to it more than any of my others I think. Amazing renditions of both classic ragtime tunes and popular music from the 20's (Black Bottom/ Charleston) to the 60's (Alleycat) But this CD and watch your friends get their copies :)

Unusual piano stylings - one piano, 2 maestros, 4 hands, March 30, 2000
This review is from: Four-Hand Piano (Audio CD)
If you like any kind of popular piano music, this is the CD tohave. The arrangements are spectacular and the audio quality and theplaying are virtually flawless. If I had not seen the artists perform live and been there when they were perfecting the style, I would not believe that human hands could have played this music. I highly recommend this selection. The greatest two team honky tonk piano players of all time !, August 7, 2002
This review is from: Four-Hand Piano (Audio CD)
If you are looking for the very best, and I mean the VERY BEST ragtime piano playing to ever come along since the beginning of ragtime in the 20s, look no more, you have found it...this is the CD you will love to hear, because these two guys outperform all other ragtime piano players from history's past, they play it hard, and fast like you've never heard. Rod Miller was hired by Disney some thirty years ago, to play at the Coca Cola corner to entertain the audience while eating at tables, and has been their main piano player ever since. Thompson learned from Miller, and together they formed the greatest four hand piano playing to ever come along, I recomend this CD by all means, you will not be sorry, if your looking for real rootin tootin honky tonk piano, this is it, Richard Leclair, from Riverside California.
