AntiFreeze's " Four Letter Words " is a huge dissapointment. #1 when this band was found ( by Kris Roe of the Ataris ) owners of Kung Fu Recrods and Kris were looking for the next "Ataris". How lame is that? Second off...Iam not a huge Ataris fan but even the Ataris have a good cd. Antifreeze has talent but lacks any sense of lyrcial direction. Its all the same..every...

i have seen these guys live a few times and they rock in concert! the cd is fun, and i think that everyone should give it a shot! the lyrics are sugary and a little corny, but it is a good time!

nah, just joking, if u like ataris then u'l love this, antifreeze are a cross between blink and ataris and with the cd produced by kris roe from ataris then u would expect nothing less. some crackin songs on the album and not many bad ones...great buy.

Recommended for fans of NFG, mxpx, and mest. It's pop-punk at its best. Check out 'The Ides.'

How lame is that? Second off...Iam not a huge Ataris fan but even the Ataris have a good cd. Antifreeze has talent but lacks any sense of lyrcial direction. Its all the same..every song about girls! The music has talent but it is much to alike to The Ataris and how ironic..its produced by Kris Roe. Bottomline..its nothing great..not even average. SAVE YOUR MONEY...they are great guys and a good live band but record wise...they are weak! go buy some AFI, Rancid, At the Drive In or a great pop punk band on kung fu with a great sound, Useless I.D.

1.0 out of 5 stars not great, December 17, 2001

ok i bought this cd because of 2 things i heard "ordinary" and it was produced by kris roe (ataris) so i thought i may aswell give it a go.

Unfortunately it didnt live up to expectations, im not disputing these guys talent at all, they can definately play their instruments but unfortunately it really lacks one thing, a decent vocalist. lots of songs you just find the lyrics soft and with no attitude some where in the background, which his rather lame for a punk band trying to get a story or message across. i say if you dont own any ataris cds yet go buy "end is forever" or "blue skies broken hearts next 12 exits" before this.

I saw Antifreeze perform live with Sum 41, and let me tell you, they were amazing! These 20-somethings can sing and play their instruments. Plus they are the nicest guys you could ever meet.

I really enjoy their song titled ordinary. I first heard it on a kung fu records comilation. The lyrics are not written with too big of words for mindless people to understand. It gets to the point which is...stop carrying so much of what people think. Be who you are and be proud. You'll become more popular being real than anything. The world needs more knowledge, period.
