I loved Four Paws from Heaven. It brought back memories of my pets and the quirky things they did. I shed a few tears, laughed out loud, and kept a big smile on my face as I read each page. If you've ever owned a pet and gaining a more vivid picture of God entices you, then this book is a must read! From the first page you'll be hooked. Wells, Young and Fleishauer filled this book with true canine stories with life changing take-aways. At least one, but probably many, of the lessons in this book will be relevant to any reader. The best part of Four Paws from Heaven is that it compares our beloved pet's behavior with our own human behavior--the resulting "Aha" moments inevitably draw us closer to God.

This is an excellent read for anyone, but especially for God and Pet lovers. I bought several copies, after I read it, to share with friends who were sick, troubled, or dying and also share my love of animals, it helped each of them! It aids me tremendously while I grieve the loss of my own best friend (who happened to be a dog). I wish I could buy a copy for everyone to read! Please read it! It will bring you much comfort regardless of your circumstances in life.

How delightful to have in print what I have always known - just how much our canine "angels" teach us about unconditional love, God's love! The connection between our obedience to Him, and our pets' obedience to their caring and loving master, is simple, yet remarkable. I gave 3 of these as gifts to dog loving friends and family, and each person has expressed delight. I intend to buy more as gifts. This happens to be one devotional that even my brother, who is more skeptic than Christian, will read,enjoy, and perhaps take to heart.

Four Paws from Heaven is a delight to read and an encouragement also. I'm a dog lover, so that helps, but you don't have to be one to enjoy the terrific book.

We recently lost a dog due to wobbler's syndrome and were extremely distraught. A thoughtful friend sent us a copy Four Paws from Heaven and this wonderful book provided much comfort and understanding to me and my wife. It is written in the form of short devotionals which have biblical references and practical self-help ideas to aid people grieving the loss of a pet. We thought so much of the book and the ideas expressed in it, that we purchased several copies and have given them to friends who have lost pets. A copy of this book and a memorial to a local animal shelter provide a perfect token of sympathy to anyone who has lost a four legged friend.

You certainly don't have to be a dog lover to enjoy this book. But if you are, it's a must! Very inspirational, exceptional writers, you feel as if you are there. I always read more than one story and wished the book didn't end so soon. Received it as a gift and purchased more to give as gifts. A must read.

I found this book in a grocery store while buying a gift for a baby shower. I was surprised I found it, but when I began reading it, I was really astounded. All three authors, besides caring deeply for their respective pooches, had a deep connection with God, and understood the meaning of the Christian life and walk. The devotionals touched on many day-to-day issues most people struggle with. I personally found it interesting because God sent me a challenging "power breed" dog to work with, and her companionship helped me a lot. The three authors learned much from their "puppies" as well, and the devotions are very readable, not to mention highly amusing.

This book is very inspirational. I read a story every morning before I go to work. When I finish the book I will be sad, but I figure I'll just start reading the stories again. If you love dogs, and you are interested in improving your spiritual life, this book is for you.

This book was given to me by my daughter at Christmas. In all the busy activity, I put it away and forgot about it. A couple months ago, I came across it, started reading it, and fell in love with it. It is hard not to read it straight through, but I have refrained from doing that in order to let the truths of each story penetrate my mind and heart. I have purchased 4 additional copies for friends and relatives who love dogs as much as I do, and I'm sure I will buy more in the future for the same reason. Animal lovers, especially dog lovers, will enjoy seeing how our beloved pets can reflect the love and faithfulness of God. Buy it. You will love it.
