This shampoo is okay but it didn't seem to help remove my cockapoos mats and didn't seem to prevent new ones either. I struggled to get her mats out before and after using this shampoo, and continue to struggle avoiding new mats after using this shampoo despite brushing her daily. This shampoo also has a very strong chemical smell to it but hasn't irritated my dogs skin so I'll continue to use it. This shampoo is okay and I'll use it for her baths until I run out but I don't notice it helping with mats. I've even attempted using this with highly rated conditioner and still no changes with matting. Corn starch seems to be the only thing that helps me work out her mats (but even still it's a struggle!) Just part of owning a long haired dog :) I love her despite of the high maintenance grooming!!
