This was a great read. I found it hard to put my iPad down. As a motorcycle rider I really appreciated the accuracy that Phil put into the story. I could see myself easily making some of the same mistakes as a young man. This is a story of a potential train-wreck of a weekend ride that is well told and fun to read. We can all learn from the riders' ongoing chain of bad decisions.

Thanks for sharing Phil

This was an outstanding book. I downloaded Phil Walker's 'Four' prior to leaving on a flight from London to San Francisco. Reading the book from start to finish on the flight was effortless and cut an eleven hour flight easily in half. It is a wonderful story of friends and family, hope and desparation, life and death, humor and sadness, kindness and compassion and the youthful years we all yearn to be able to relive. It brought back vivid memories for me of the crimson and gold mountains of the Shenandoah, white winters, my college years and many found people that have touched my life like the friends in this book touched the author's. I don't know if this author is now writing full-time, but if he isn't, he should give it hard consideration.

Wow. This was my first Kindle book as I decided to buy one after seeing Wayne's FB posting. I couldn't put this book down last night. What an exciting story. Wayne told me this story before but I didn't understand the seriousness of the situation. The fact that the story has a happy ending is nothing short of a miracle. Phil did a great job putting this story into words. Perhaps in another 15 years he'll release 'Four' The Movie.

The story line was quite intriguing and I was looking forward to reading this! The writing style totally turned me off, however. Seemed like a self published book without editing or polishing, written by an author who doesn't read a lot of books. :-( Wishing him the best, but I would not recommend this book.
