Book Description

October 19, 2006
Despite her broken heart, when Dilly Gently joins Magnus Olensen's new band, the chemistry between them is explosive. Both impossibly romantic dizzy blondes with the souls of poets, they could be made for each other. But before they have chance to declare themselves, Dilly's friend Nell confides that she has a huge crush on Magnus, and Dilly nobly steps down in order to play reluctant matchmaker. Nell returns the favour by setting her friend up with her dashing twin brother Flipper. But Flipper the bounder is not a good rebound for a true romantic. He hides a secret that could break Dilly's heart all over again ...

3.0 out of 5 stars Breezy, fun to read, chaotic romance with lots of shagging in stables., December 6, 2007
This review is from: Four Play (Paperback)
This is a fun novel, very light, frothy and full of comic characters with ultra funny names and nick names. Fiona is good in delivering a young read with dramatic effect and lots of innuendos.
Romance is in every page and her characters are flawed and heartwarming. Simple with a touch of bewitching sharp humor and lots of drinking, sex and rock and roll.

Loved this book! Great bedtime reading and it is harmless, switch off the day and disappear into the world of four play. Excellent

2.0 out of 5 stars Needs More Horses, June 9, 2009

This review is from: Four Play (Paperback)
Good for killing time. Not as good as some of her other books. It felt more unrealistic than others, as well. I didn't really care about anyone because they were all selfish, and mostly not very nice. (Is that what people are like? Yikes!) It was fun and events were interesting. Pacing was a bit ragged and it didn't flow so well. Come to think of it- these beautiful, some carefree, some calculating but rather unpleasant people are who tend to fill her books. I admit, I like it better when there are more horses in her books, but there were a few here so that was nice. You need to be able to quickly remember a lot of characters. Too much of the (drippy) romance genre, I prefer a bit less- but that is my own problem.
