Book Description

January 23, 2003
The partnership between Niki Lauda and the legendary Ferrari team is one of the most dramatic and dynamic in post-war Grand Prix racing. Between 1974 and 1977, Ferrari won ten Grands Prix, Lauda won two Driver's World Championships and Ferrari won three Constructors' World Championships. This tightly packed, colorful account gives a fascinating insight into the way Lauda worked with Ferrari and records the gripping personal relationship between Lauda and team boss and founder Enzo Ferrari - two highly motivated and very different individuals. Revealing anecdotes and incisive portraits of the characters involved produce a remarkable view of Formula 1 racing 25 years ago.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected, March 8, 2010
This review is from: Four Seasons at Ferrari: The Lauda Years (Hardcover)
When I purchased this book I was hoping for an account of the somewhat tenuous relationship between Niki Lauda and Enzo Ferrari. Instead I got a brief race by race description of all the races, Lauda raced in for Ferrari. Plus you could read this book in about 2 hours since half of it is photographs. Not worth the high price.

4.0 out of 5 stars A winner by Alan henry, July 13, 2009
This review is from: Four Seasons at Ferrari: The Lauda Years (Hardcover)
The photos alone are worth the book. They are simply gorgeous.

I bought this book at the Ferrari Museum at Maranello in February 2009.

The book covers the four years Niki Lauda spent at Ferrari (1974 through 1977), but it is also useful as a short biography of Lauda, because it covers briefly his years before and after Ferrari.

The text is well written, there is a lot of new information and, like I already said, the photos and general print quality are amazing.
