Pure genius,

One of the very best albums you'll probably ever here! The first thing that you'll notice when you here the Cd is that all the songs are amazing, you won't want to ever take it out of your Cd player. The Cd kicks off with "Pain", a very rocking yet emotional song, you'll just get so carried by the melody guitar part in the verses, it's so addictive it shouldn't be legal! "Shadows" also has a great riff, and catchy sing-a-long chorus, a simply magnificent song. The third track, "Sway" is my personal favourite, the drum fills will have everyone doing their best Keith Moon impression. Then onto "Liar" another rocking track, so air guitars at the ready! "Tied up" is the penultimate song and, another great intro, and chorus will keep everyone happy. The Cd is rounded of with "Fate" a very meaningful song, which has the best outro to any song I have ever heard, it's a lot slower to start off with but gathers momentum, and flows nicely. The Cd is well worth the investment, and if you don't already have "Thrown to the Wolves" you'll be ordering that too, as this Cd just leaves you longing for more! Anyone into guitar based music will love it, so order it, and set your Cd player to repeat!

I first heard the band on "Buffy the vampire slayer" and for a few seasons, alot of their music could be heard on the show. With groups like Our Lady Peace, Good Charlotte, and Puddle of Mudd being blasted on the radio, I have no idea why Four STar Mary isn't among them. Maybe poor promotion...I don't know. But if you like those other groups, then you should enjoy Four Star Mary. This EP is especially great with songs like "pain", "Fate", and "liar". They have that catchy modern rock/pop sound that people seem to catch onto these days. Check them out...

These guys rock. The show BTVS could not have picked a better band to be the shows featured act by way of "Dingos Ate My Baby".
