This large print, large picture book is great for teaching and great for learning for young or early readers. Story is as charming as the characters.

3.0 out of 5 stars Few words, rich pictures, May 3, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: The Fourteen Forest Mice and the Harvest Moon Watch (Library Binding)
In Japan, there is a custum to worship the full moon of early autumm.

Mice children make a box seat on the tree top,and the whole family watch moon. there is vely simple story, few words, but minute pictures gives us many infomations about their country life and familly relationship. Color expression of night sight shone by the moon is excellent.
My daughter two years and 6 months old likes this book to be read ( or shown ), but a little dull for me.
